Education

We offer a range of educational opportunities for healthcare professionals and students including distance learning Tissue Viability and Wound Management and Management of Leg Ulceration modules at Masters Level. Both modules, on successful completion are awarded 30 M level credits.

The Institute for Skin Integrity and Infection Prevention and the Burns and Plastics Unit at MYNHS Trust have a long history of collaboration and joint working both in research and education. The range of shared expertise enables us to be able to cover a true bench to bedside approach resulting in research which has the potential to directly influence practice throughout the skin continuum. We have through this initiative delivered joint educational sessions and conferences aligning to under graduate/post graduate students and for the global research community.

We host Wounds Week twice a year in partnership with the Journal of Wound Care. Wounds Week gives a chance for the wound care community to come together, engaging in key education free of charge. All our sessions are CPD-certified, with all content free to watch on demand from: Wounds Week Webinars
