Climate crisis, climate action, environmental justice

This event aims at unfolding how climate emergency/crisis is addressed through pedagogical stances, current researches and public engagement activities. Proposed by CUDAS and CEADA Research Centres, it also aims at engaging with scholars from other disciplines, other universities and actors beyond academia. Some of the questions which we aim at discussing together are:
- How climate change is depicted and framed?
- To what extent climate emergency can be interpreted as a global social/racial/economic justice emergency?
- In what way academic research can engage with current on-going initiatives and activism?
- To what extent what we're aiming at doing in our research can actively contribute to pedagogy and teacing curricula?
Rather than offering definite answers, speakers aim at raising the above questions and discuss with postgraduate researchers and broader audience, establishing a better ground for future initiatives and events, increase networking in and beyond the School.
